But, there are some resons that you may not want to order your locks online.
Locksmiths and professional lock services can have better prices and deals than in store by ordering from the supplier
Locksmiths have more insight into brands and quality that isn’t available in online reviews
Ordering VS Installing Locks Yourself
If you really are specific about what type of lock you want, we get it. But ordering locks online is very different from installing it yourself. If you’re not a professional, you risk installing the lock incorrectly. With your home and personal safety, you don’t want to risk it.
For any external-facing doors or locks on front doors, garage doors window locks, or any other security-type locks, you will want to call a local locksmith to install the lock for you. Interior locks and doors are a much better bet for testing out your skills.

If you are going to order door locks on Amazon, these are some tips we reccomend:
